he final sprint is on...
Tunisia : Team Dessoude - Leg 8
02/05/08 18:42

Tomorrow will see the final straight, heading for Djerba. A stage where everything can be lost or won. This final stage, 286 km long and Cyril Neveu's favourite, is announced as being ‘pure driving', and will determine the final podium.

The start will take place at the Leclerc Column in Ksar Ghillane. The rocky track will be very tricky for the first 45 km, with some bad ditches. This will be followed with roads, with traffic, tarmac sections, some wide open tracks, followed by technical parts, fast sections, then technical, then fast... just for a change!

The special stage will finish on the El Kantara beach, after which the competitors will continue towards Djerba...
